Every AI agent. Every owner. One list.

The AI Agent Registry is being built to give HR and operations a single, living record of the AI work your company runs on, and who is responsible for each piece.

The problem with "we'll keep a spreadsheet"

Someone usually starts a spreadsheet of AI tools. It is out of date within a month. It lists tools, not the work built in them. And it rarely says who takes over when the owner moves on.

What the registry will track

For every agent, GPT, Claude Project, prompt library and automation:

  • What it does, in plain language.

  • Where it lives: which platform and which workspace or account.

  • Who owns it, and who backs them up.

  • Who depends on it: the team, process or customer it supports.

  • How critical it is, so you know where to focus.

  • Whether it has a runbook, and when it was last reviewed.

What it will help you do

  • Plan for departures

When someone gives notice, see in one view what AI work needs a new owner.

  • Spot single points of failure

Find the agents and automations that only one person understands, before it becomes a problem.

  • Keep ownership current

Prompt owners to confirm their items on a regular schedule, so the list stays true.

  • Support role changes, not just exits

Promotions, transfers and long leaves create the same risk. The registry treats them the same way.
