FigmentIQ Advisory

The AI Continuity Assessment

Find out which AI work your company would lose if one person left, and fix the riskiest gaps first. One department, two weeks, a clear plan.

  • AI inventoryEvery agent, GPT, Claude Project, prompt library and automation we find, with its owner and where it lives.
  • Continuity scoreA plain read on how much of the department's AI work depends on a single person.
  • Three handoff runbooksWritten documentation for the three most critical pieces of AI work, so someone else can run them.
  • Leadership readoutA short briefing for HR and leadership, with findings and next steps.

What we deliver

  • Discovery

We interview the team, review the company AI workspaces you give us access to (such as Claude Team, ChatGPT Team, Copilot and Gemini), and invite people to declare AI work in personal accounts. Nothing is assumed. Everything gets an owner.

  • Documentation

We rate each item by how critical it is and how hard it would be to replace. Then we write handoff runbooks for the top three: purpose, setup, connections, how to run it, how to check it and how to move it.

  • Direction

We score the department, show where the single points of failure are, and give you a prioritized plan. That includes AI questions to add to your offboarding checklist and a recommendation on which work should move into company-owned accounts.

The AI Continuity Maturity Model

Every company sits somewhere on this ladder. Most start at the bottom. That's normal. The point is to know where you are and take the next step.

  1. Unaware
  2. Visible
  3. Documented
  4. Owned
  5. Resilient

Stage 1

Unaware

AI work is spread across tools and workspaces, with no owner and no inventory.

Key pains
Nobody knows what has been built. Losses show up only after someone leaves. Personal accounts hold company work.
What we do
Run discovery and build the first inventory of AI work, with an owner on every item.
Fitting offering
AI Continuity Assessment.

Stage 2

Visible

You know what AI work exists and who built it, but it isn't documented or backed up.

Key pains
A list exists but nothing protects it. One resignation can still take out a critical process.
What we do
Rate criticality, find the single points of failure and write runbooks for the riskiest items.
Fitting offering
AI Continuity Assessment, extended to more departments.

Stage 3

Documented

Critical AI work has runbooks, so someone else could run it.

Key pains
Documentation goes stale. Backup owners aren't named. Offboarding still doesn't ask about AI work.
What we do
Assign backup owners, set a review schedule and add AI work to offboarding and role-change checklists.
Fitting offering
Follow-up Assessments, with the AI Agent Registry in early access.

Stage 4

Owned

Every important piece of AI work has a named owner and backup, and lives in company-owned workspaces.

Key pains
Keeping it current takes effort. New AI work appears faster than it gets registered.
What we do
Set up ongoing ownership checks and a simple intake process for new AI work.
Fitting offering
Periodic reassessments, with Continuity Runbooks and the registry in early access.

Stage 5

Resilient

AI work is treated like any other business asset. People leave, change roles or go on leave, and the work keeps running.

Key pains
Staying here as AI use keeps growing and tools change.
What we do
Measure continuity over time across departments and report it to leadership.
Fitting offering
The FigmentIQ platform, currently in early access.

The two-week timeline

  1. Step 1: Days 1–2

    Kickoff

We agree on scope, confirm which AI workspaces we can review, and introduce the Assessment to the team as a way to protect their work.

  2. Step 2: Days 3–6

    Discovery

Short interviews with the people doing the work. Review of company AI workspaces. A simple, private form for declaring AI work in personal accounts.

  3. Step 3: Days 7–8

    Inventory and scoring

We build the inventory, rate each item and calculate the department's continuity score.

  4. Step 4: Days 9–12

    Runbooks

We write handoff runbooks for the three most critical pieces of AI work and review them with their owners.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a department?

A team with a shared leader and function, such as sales, finance, HR or support. If you're unsure, we'll help you pick one during the first call.

What access do you need?

Admin or read access to the company AI workspaces in scope, and time with the people who use them. We agree on exactly what we'll look at before we start.

Do you look at personal accounts?

We don't log into anyone's personal account. We ask people to tell us about AI work they built there, so it can be moved into company hands if it matters.

Will this make employees nervous?

We frame it as making sure their work gets credit and keeps running. We recommend that a leader introduces it that way at kickoff, and we provide the wording.

Which AI tools do you cover?

The AI tools your department actually uses. That often includes Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini, along with automation tools connected to them.

What does a "single-person AI dependency" mean?

A piece of AI work that a team relies on and that only one person can run, change or access.

Do we need to buy the software?

No. The Assessment stands on its own. The FigmentIQ platform is in early access, and joining is optional.

What happens after the two weeks?

You keep everything we deliver. Many companies choose to assess another department next.
